Further to the reports of Koor Industries Ltd. ("the Company") on 13th and 16th October, 2008 relating to its purchase of SF 1.2 billion of shares of Credit Suisse Group AG ("Credit Suisse") ("the Transaction"), the Company now reports as follows:
On 20 October, 2008, the Company received a rebate of approximately SF 16 million from Credit Suisse in respect of the shares purchased in the Transaction. This was in accordance with the agreement between the parties and in respect of the sale of shares by Credit Suisse to a third party at a slightly lower price than the price at which the Transaction shares were sold to the Company.
With the aid of its accountants, the Company is checking whether the rebate will be charged to an increase in the capital fund for investments available fro sale, or will be recognised as profit in the statement of profit and loss. |
